Three books. Fifty-three verses. The books of 2 John, 3 John, and Jude, thought short in length, are rich in content. We could call them “New Testament Postcards” for how short they are. It is what we find within that is worth studying.

New Testament Postcards” is a three-week class (no homework, no tests, no required reading) being offered by Lake Michigan Bible Institute that will cover these three short books in detail. As we study these letters, we learn some important truths that are as applicable to us today as they were in the first century. Some of what we will see includes:

• What walking in truth and love looks like for believers in our world today.

• The marks of false teachers, with both ancient and modern examples of unbiblical teaching and how we should respond to them.

• Why the doctrine of Christ is vital to the spiritual well-being of a Christian.

• Knowing the marks of church bullies and how we should respond to them.

• The need to evaluate what we believe and live by.

• The necessity to “guard” our relationships from negative influence.

• The reason that integrity is vital to our relationship with others.

• The importance of protecting others from being pulled away from the truth.

The course will be held at Oakridge Community Church in St. Joseph.
